I know this is a bit of a taboo subject amongst the general gaming community, but it's news all the same, and may interest the small minority to whom it applies.

Hi everyone,

First of all sorry for posting this in English language but my Frensh language skills are poor.

A new forum site has recently just been set up aimed at collector's who prefer to collect factory sealed video-games, called Sealed Game Heaven, and has already so far been reported on by Kotaku.com; InsertCredit.com; And also BitParade

The forum features in-depth guides and discussions regarding sealed games from all regions, as well as useful information regarding what to look out for, as well as the differences between factory seals and reseals. It also has another section where members have posted pictures of their impressive sealed game collections for your viewing pleasure!
Even if you are not a fan of this unique collecting phenomenon, it may still fascinate you or even provide enlightenment!

I collect sealed games for more than 4 years and i just want to know if there are some other crazy guys out there who are also sealed collectors like me or are interested in this type of collecting.

Do you think it is worth to collect sealed games or do you think sealed collecting is just wasting your money...

best greetings
Pascal

As collecting is "useless" for most of people, it's considered as wasting time and money, so no matters if it's sealed games or stamps that you're collecting, the real point is to find something to collect that enjoys you.

Sure, except that a sealed PCE game is one game less for real gamers ;)

Other than that, I agree that you can collect whatever you fancy.

Hi Pascal,

i just have a few new games in my collection , only pc engine , i agree it's beautiful but i would not like all my games to be new , i'm a gamer first , and i'm also pleased to "look in the box". New games are also expensive usually , but i understand people who collect them. The question is how do you play video games with sealed items ??? Do you play on your PC or with back ups ?

As far as I know he hasn't even a PS2 system but only sealed PS2 games.

I couldn't collect sealed games only either. I own some for collecting purposes or b/c I got them by accident (bundles or because they were really cheap) but collecting only sealed games would be way to stressy for me. Not being able to play a pretty cool game and more than that, not even being able to look in the instruction book, would frustrate me somehow tbh.
