Just a quick question.... How many people actually come here? I've been checking back at this forum for about a week now but it doesn't seem to be very active at all... (Apart from the French sections but not speaking french myself they are of little use). Don't take me the wrong way, I'm not complaining or anything, Just interested to know how many people are still reading this forum.... Do any of you still play/collect PC Engine games? just wondering =)

about 15/20 people frequently have a look on the website, so, you've got only one solution, learn the french language

Well the thing is that since there isn't anything left to leech on the main dead site , not much people are wandering around here aside the usual people who mostly are collectors who don't give a crap about iso stuff ;)
As Amano Jyaku mentionned we're about 15/20 really regular people here.

If you need some informations, please see that I am on this forum every day of the week.

So, you can give us some informations about NEC in your country, too. We will be using those informations to build a NEC Bible.

True the board has been quiet lately.
How is the Bible project going Sir Godeffroy ?

Nice to see members doing an effort posting in English btw ;)

Tests number is growing each day.

We are doing the two versions (French/English) at the same time.
But there is a lot of work to do to the end of the project, so please wait for news.

It will be a good idea to post the progress for members who not speak French, won't it?

I'll most certainly post some news about the translation progress once my mobo gets operational again (can't do any translation job at the moment on this machine) :)

Sure , why not also make a sticky thread here about the project
There are maybe foreign users who would like to take place into this project aswell

foreign users = les non Français hein , pas les manouches/forains pour ceux qui ont du mal avec l'Anglais

Hi,

I am also wondering if Twinbee would be interested to give us a hand and maybe put his final touch to the translation process. I mean, even if I Iived in UK for a while, I'm sure my English is faaaar from being perfect. Maybe we could do the first pass and then someone who's native language is English could do the final check... we should maybe mention this to Griffon, what do you guys think ?...

What a good idea you have here, guy.

Hello, people.
We need a native English speaker to check/finalize our work, and maybe do something else in this project (tests, scans, informations,...).
Please contact us

I could do it. I'm unbearably pedantic about English and owe Square about six spine scans and countless manual/case/CD scans besides.

Hi, I don't know what the status of the Bible project is, but I would be more than willing to contribute to copy-edit the English version. I have a fairly decent grasp of the English language :)

I might be able to contribute original content (from a North American perspective) as well... but I don't want to be presumptuous.

PM sent to Sir G

Hi!

We will finish the first part of the Bible (Hu-Card part) in the next months, in French version, of course. English version is in progress, and the two translators have a lot of tests to translate. Because this is just a translation, any test are made in english at first.

So, as english native, you can give us a part of help.

Welcome aboard, Steve! I'll keep you informed about the progress of the English translation (I'm one of the two translators along with Laurent Kermel).
